There’s something special about senior sessions that take place in the heart of Vermont’s mountains—especially when the senior has a love for the outdoors and adventure. Shaun’s session in Smugglers’ Notch was one of those perfect days where everything just came together: the golden light filtering through the trees, the crisp mountain air, and a senior who was completely in his element.
Shaun is originally from Maryland, but Vermont holds a special place in his heart. He’s been coming up here for years to snowboard, carving his way down the slopes and embracing the winter lifestyle. It’s no surprise that UVM was at the top of his college list—he’s already been accepted there (congrats, Shaun!) and is waiting to hear back from the University of Colorado Boulder. Whether he ends up in Vermont or out West, one thing is clear: he’s meant to be in the mountains.
Back home in Maryland, Shaun is a dedicated hockey player, bringing the same energy and determination to the ice as he does to the slopes. That competitive spirit came through during our session, too—he was up for anything.
Senior sessions like this are a reminder of how exciting this season of life is. It’s a time of change, of big decisions, and of embracing the unknown. Shaun has a bright future ahead, and I have no doubt he’s going to bring his passion and drive wherever he lands next.
Shaun, thanks for an awesome session in the Notch—enjoy the rest of your senior year, and I can’t wait to see where your journey takes you next!
